Student Conventions
Every school year, RICA participates in ACE’s Regional and International Student Conventions which consist of nightly student rallies, Bible-based devotions with renowned Christian speakers, and competitions in academics, sports, arts, music, and public speaking. Since 2014, RICA students have been active participants in these competitions, garnering personal awards and school awards. The conventions also serve as a training ground for the development of our students’ talents and gifts as they discover their God-given purpose.
Quarterly Recognitions
RICA hosts quarterly recognition ceremonies to celebrate the accomplishments of all of our students. In addition to honoring their academic achievements, students have a platform to showcase their talents and work during the quarter to their parents and families. Our Parent-Supervisor Association (PSA) assists the school faculty in planning and coordinating the recognitions. These are incredible times of community we look forward to every year!
Graduation
Our graduation ceremony occurs during the annual/fourth quarter recognition of every school year. While we acknowledge the graduates, we also commend students who are graduating from kindergarten, elementary, and middle school levels in the moving-up ceremony. We gladly welcome the families and friends of our incredible graduates and celebrate God’s faithfulness in the lives of our RICA students together at this event.
Extra Curricular Programs
RICA offers programs that promote our students’ growth in their talents and passions in areas such as writing, music, art, leadership, and community building.
Royal Music School
Our music school offers private, one-to-one lessons in piano, voice, and saxophone throughout the week, open to both RICA and non-RICA students. For more information, please call 443-317-8056.
The Royal Chronicles
Students can develop their creative writing skills with our student-led newspaper club that writes monthly newsletters about school events, Biblical devotions, and so much more!
Student Government
RICA students can serve in the student council, supervised by our principal and Board members. This gives them opportunities to develop leadership skills and be involved in planning school events.
Community Outreach
We encourage all of our students to take part in volunteer/service opportunities in Baltimore! RICA students serve in various organizations in the area, including churches, non-profit organizations, and many more!
